  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • SECTION 2 — Purpose of This Form (Disclosure Statement)

  • Federal regulations require Southeastern Community College to include all outside educational assistance when determining your financial aid eligibility. Outside resources such as private scholarships, employer tuition benefits, reimbursement programs, stipends, grants, or other non‑SCC aid must be reported to prevent federal over-awards and ensure your financial aid package complies with Title IV rules.

Please complete each section, if additional information is required, we will contact you.

  • SECTION 6 — Impact on Financial Aid (Mandatory Disclosure Notice)

  • Your outside award(s) will be included in your total financial aid package. If your aid exceeds your federally calculated financial need, SCC is required by federal rules to reduce need‑based aid to prevent an over-award. This may result in adjustments to grants, work‑study, or loans. Some awards may reduce loan eligibility first; however, adjustments may vary depending on your individual aid profile and institutional policy.
  • I understand that outside scholarships and employer tuition benefits are considered part of my need‑based financial aid package and cannot exceed my cost of attendance. I understand that SCC assumes scholarships are renewable unless I notify the Financial Aid Office otherwise.
